Children from Javakheti Spent Their Summer Holidays in Camp “Aragats” Print

On June 19, 2017, the children from Javakheti started their summer vacation in Armenia. For the 4th time the children from regions, through joint efforts of the Samtskhe-Javakheti and Tsalka's General Prelacy of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia and the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Development of the Republic of Armenia, spent their summer holidays in “Aragats” camp located in the picturesque region of Hankavan. 100 schoolchildren from the Akhalkalaki, Akhaltsikhe, Ninotsminda, Tsalka regions and the Damala village, accompanied by Rev.Father Tatev Marukyan, the Pastor of Akhalkalaki and nearby villages, arrived in “Aragats” camp, where their peers from Yerevan and Gyumri had been waiting for them.

The warm welcome of the camp staff will make an unforgettable summer experience for the children. The children will spend 20 days in the camp.
