On August 27, 2017, residents of Kartsakh village of Akhalkalaki region celebrated Jivani’s Day and opened the troubadour’s home museum. During the previous year the gallery of the home-museum of Jivani was finally rebuilt and opened, this year the memorial section of the house-museum has been also renovated.

On August 26, 2017, an initiative group of the “Mkhitar Sebastatsi” Educational Complex in Yerevan performed at the summer concert series in Akhalkalaki. The concerts were entitled “Spiritual Bridges”.

The Spiritual Superintendence of Akhaltsikhe at the Samtskhe-Javakheti and Tsalka's General Prelacy of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia, at the initiative of Rev. Father Hacob Sahakyan and the Pastor of nearby villages, Rev. Father Torgom Vardanyan , and under the sponsorship of born in the Small Pamach village benefactor Khachatur Baboyan, for a few years has set up the 5-day camp program in Akhaltsikhe. At the initiative of the Spiritual Superintendence the camping event is called “Lusavorchi Manukner”.

On August 18, 2017, with the blessings of Very Rev. Fr. Babken Salbiyan, the Prelate of Samtskhe-Javakheti and Tsalka's General Prelacy of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia; and accompanied by Rev. Father Tatev Marukyan, the Pastor of the Holy Cross Church in Akhalkalalki; a group of senior campers of the backyard camp adjunct to the Holy Cross Church with a joint prayer traveled to Akhaltsikhe, where they spent one day.
