On November 17, 2016, an open lesson devoted to the summary of autumn theme was held in the Primary School “St. Movses the Khorenatsi” (Director: Yevguenya Markosyan) at the Armenian Diocese in Georgia. The lesson featured the elements of speech development, singing, drawing and fine arts. Colorful autumn with its boons had moved to the classroom. It was sure visible that the Primary School staff, parents of the pupils, had done their best to show the numerous colors and diversity of autumn: trees with fallen leaves, foggy weather, an abundance of fruits and vegetables. The lesson began with the Lord's Prayer. The fact that many people were attending the lesson did not embarrass the preschool students. The children answered the questions of supervising teacher Yevguenya Markosyan with the exact perception and confidence, with active participation of all students. During the open lesson on recognition of the nature, the pupils showed their knowledge on the seasons of the year, corresponding months, changes in the weather and its characteristics, and accordingly illustrated their knowledge on the fruits, vegetables and nuts gifted by the nature. The lesson was decorated with songs about autumn, riddles, games, competitions and the children’s poetry. It was evident that the lesson was wonderfully organized through the joint efforts of the Primary School teachers and the parents. In his closing remarks, Very Rev. Father Khoren Hovhannisyan, assistant to the Primate of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia, offered his appreciation and blessings to the students, the teachers, the parents and the attendees, concluding the event with “Guard Us” prayer. |
