4On April 15, 2018, a festive mood prevailed in Poti, Georgia. The city was celebrating its day. Poti was decorated according to the day. The festive events held under the title “Poti's Days – 2018”, created joyful mood and made people to feel pride for their beloved city. 3
The delegation of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia also participated in the City Day celebration. The delegation consisted of Rev. Father Ararat Gumbalyan, Pastor of Armenians in Ajara, Guria and Imereti, Michael Avagyan, Head of Legal Affairs and Cooperation Department of the Armenian Diocese, Zhanna Avetisova, lawyer of the Surb Prkich (Saint DSC 1636Savior) church and Seyran Baroyan, cameraman – photographer.
The delegation of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia attended the Divine Liturgy, which was celebrated in the Poti Cathedral, as well as all festive events. Rev Father Ararat Gumabalyan delivered a speech at the celebration dedicated to the feast.  The latter conveyed the brotherly greetings and congratulations of the Primate of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia, His Grace Bishop Vazgen Mirzakhanyan and gifted a Tbilisi painting of famous artist Tengiz Mikoyants. Festive events dedicated to the Poti City Day completed with a concert in the central park.
