The Armenian Diocese in Georgia together with the lawyers of Tolerance and Diversity Institute (TDI) and Human Rights Education and Monitoring Center (EMC) thoroughly examined the decision made on March 5, 2019, by Tbilisi City Court, under the presidency of judge Nana Chichileishvili, on the issue of Tandoyants St. Astvatsatsin church. Based on its disagreement with the Court's arguments and facts, the Armenian Diocese decided to appeal the decision and on March 18, 2019 initiated lawsuit to the Court of Cassation of Georgia.
