On the 15th of June, 2013, at Surb Prkich Church in Batumi, after Sunday Divine Liturgy, spiritual shepherd of Armenians in Adjara, Guria and Imereti Priest Ararat Gumbalyan presented to the believers Armenian newly formed youth arrangers music band called “Huys” ("Hope"). The last gave a small concert, which inspired the believers greatly. Priest Ararat Gumbalyan informed the audience about one good and long-awaited event: from now on at Surb Prkich Church in Batumi the Armenian folk dance ensemble “Heghnar” will function. Priest Ararat Gumbalyan in his sermon congratulated everyone and supported this initiative, he thanked all the teachers, who selflessly and free of charge will work with young musicians and with the dance ensemble.
