On the 29^th of June, at the “Hayartun” Center of the Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Orthodox Holly Church in Georgia, a wonderful event entitled “Souvenirs” was held. Gary Davtyan Puppet and Culture House initiated the event. Predominantly Russian-speaking fans of art attended the event.

The evening, which started with the blessing of the Head of the Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Orthodox Holly Church in Georgia, His Grace Bishop Vazgen Mirzakhanyan, was a breathtaking wonderful surprise for the audience. The audience expected to see the beautiful performance and dance of already familiar Davtyan’s family puppets, which are so masterfully accompanied by a corresponding song and music. However, the music started and Anna Davtyan, the daughter of Gary and Zhana Davtyan, appeared in front of the audience, and with her mellow voice, unique tunefulness and skill performed French music masterpieces of 30’-70s’. Anna’s great professional performance was a true revelation. During the concert the audience for one hour and a half listened to great songs performed by Anna Davtyan, as if hearing the Gospel, they experienced the sweet sense of nostalgia, which for the older generation was the perfect memory of the blessed time, and for young people - a real discovery. An equally wonderful performance of musician Vladimir Asaturov complemented Anna Davtyan’s songs.

The event corresponding to its name, which became a truly high society evening, was a true surprise for friends of the Davtyans family and connoisseurs of arts.

The idea of the event which came from a musician and journalist Karina Megerian-Zhiznevskaya and musician Vladimir Asaturov was aimed at the public presentation of all the generations of the Davtyans family - parents, children and grandchildren. We will wait for other surprises.
