On August 24-26, 2013, members of “Narekatsi” Youth Union at St. Grigor Narekatsi Church of the Gughark Diocese in the Republic of Armenia, headed by the spiritual leader, Priest Stepanos Margaryan, visited the Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Georgia. Robert Sargsyan, the native of Kianeti village in Bolnisi region, Georgia, currentlya third year studentin the Department of History of Vanadzor StatePedagogical Institute, had initiated the pilgrimage to Georgia and hosted for two days the Vanadzor youth.

The pilgrimage of young clerics to Georgia started from the visit to Tbilisi Pantheon of the Armenian Writers and Public Figures “Khojivank”, after that the youth traveled toGeorgiancultural and spiritualcenter - thetown of Mtskheta. Pilgrimssaw theold districts ofTbilisi, visited the Armenianchurches. In the frameworks of the pilgrimage the members of the youth union attended Sunday Divine Liturgy at Surb Etchmiadzin Church in Tbilisi. Upon completion of the Liturgy the Primate of the Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Georgia, His Grace Bishop Vazgen Mirzakhanyan introduced the young clerics from the Gughark Diocese; he blessed them and welcomed the initiative to enrich theknowledge about thenation through the similarpilgrimage.

At the “Hayartun” Center of the Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Georgia a meeting of young pilgrims with the members of youth union of the Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Georgia took place. Levon Chidilyan, Head of the Center, met the guests and presented activities conducted at the “Hayartun” Center, Eugenia Markosyan, who is responsible for the educational department of the center, welcomed and greeted the young people. Levon Chidilyan and Priest Stepanos Margaryan exchanged gifts.

In the frameworks of the pilgrimage the members of the youth union from Armenia visited Gary Davtyan Puppet and Culture House, enthusiasticallywatchedthe unique beauty ofTbilisiolddistricts, which were "brought to life" in the world of puppets.

In the days of pilgrimage the guests from Vanadzor were accompanied by responsible for the youth department at the Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Georgia, the spiritual supervisor Deacon Gevorg Antonyan, and the members of youth union Inessa Sarukhanyan and Hovhannes Shakhnazaryan.
