From March 22-23, 2014 Repat Armenia Foundation, with the support of the Armenian community of Georgia, held two “Imagine Armenia” forums in Tbilisi. The main purpose was to present new programs and projects that aim to connect the Armenian community of Georgia to Armenia through tourism, education, internships volunteering and repatriation.

On March 23 the “Hayartun” Center of the Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Georgia hosted a meeting with forum participants. Armenians of different age and profession attended the meeting. Everyone was interested in repatriation opportunity, how to become a qualified professional, find a job, and create additional employment provided that migration from Armenia has reached huge volumes. Vardan Marashlyan, executive director of Repat Armenia Foundation, residing in Yerevan Nina Mehrabyan from Belarus and Tamar Najaryan from Canada, who had recently moved back to Armenia, spoke about the socio-economic problems Armenia faces and also presented the supreme and irreplaceable that can be done in Armenia, if you become an expert and experienced specialist.
