Eva Rivas visited “Hayartun” center of the Armenian Diocese |
During the official visit of SerzhSargsyan to Georgia famous singer Eva Rivas participated in the concert dedicated to Sayat-Nova’s 300s birthday anniversary. On June 19th Rivas visited cultural and educational center “Hayartun” at the Armenian diocese of Georgia, where the artist met with her fans and members of the community. The head of the cultural department of the diocese LevonChidilyan who presented the artist, thanked the singer for accepting the invitation and meeting with Tbilisi Armenian community members. Eva Rivas, who presented Armenia at “Eurovision” song contest in 2010 with her song titled “Apricot stone”, spoke about her roots, her love and respect for the Armenian nation. She spoke about the importance of the Armenian national songs and informed about her upcoming video clip, where she performs in Armenian. While answering to questions from the meeting’s participants, Rivas spoke about difficulties she faced while performing Sayat-Nova’s masterpiece “TamamAshkhar”, her level of Armenian knowledge as well as her personal path to success. The artist’s PR manager HaykMarkosyan presented Eva Rivas’s future plans, her connections to Georgian songs, “10+10” TV program etc. Per participants’ request Eva Rivas performed Sayat-Nova’s famous “TamamAshkhar” song, which was followed by her own “Apricot stone”, which was performed by “NersesShnorhali
