The Primate of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia participated in the meeting of the members of the Religious Commission |
On November 6, 2014 Ombudsman Ucha Nanuashvili had a meeting with the members of Religious Commission at the staff of Georgia’s public defender in Tbilisi “Ambassador” Hotel. The director of Legal Affairs and Cooperation Department at the Armenian Diocese in Georgia Levon Isakhanyan, the head of Analytical Research and PR Milena Oganesyan also attended the meeting. The Primate of the Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Holy Church in Georgia, His Grace Bishop Vazgen Mirzakhanyan was also present. Towards the International Day of Tolerance, the participants of the meeting discussed issues related to teaching history of religion in the schools of the country. The members of the Religious Commission discussed the candidacy of “Tolerance Defenders” in Georgia.
