RA Ministry of Justice Delegation Visited Tbilisi Armenian Church |
The delegation of the RA Ministry of Justice, under the leadership of the Minister Mr. Hovhannes Manoukian, paid a two-day working visit to Tbilisi on March 6th and 7th 2015. As part of the visit, the deputy minister Suren Qrmoyan, head of the international department, Marina Tashchyan, press-speaker Tsovinar Khachatryan and assistant to the minister Mary Gevorgyan visited Tbilisi Saint Etchmiadzin church and lighted candles. The delegation members together with the Primate of the Diocese, His Grace Bishop Vazgen Mirzakhanyan, took a tour at the “Hayartun” cultural, educational and youth center. The Primate spoke about the role of the center in cultural development, preservation of customs and Armenian education of little Armenians. Honored guests from the Motherland visited Saint Movses Khorenatsi preschool, Grigor Narekatsi one-day college of Armenian language training, spoke with the teacher and students. The delegation members were present at the Armenian history class in the other room of the “Hayartun” center, where students were watching a documentary on the Armenian Genocide. The guests were impressed and then returned to Armenia. On March 6, the Minister of Justice of Georgia, Tea Tsulukiani and RA Minister of Justice, Hovhannes Manoukian signed a memorandum of cooperation of two ministries in a sphere of justice. The latest similar document between Georgia and Armenian was signed 15 ago.
