Meeting with Armenian Students |
On March 28, 2015 the Department of Youth Affairs arranged a meeting with Armenian students from different universities of Georgia in Calouste Gulbenkian Hall of the Hayartun Center. The meeting was attended by the director of the Department of Youth Affairs, Valeri Badalian and the president of Young Diplomats’ Club of Georgia, Giorgi Tumasyan. Coordinator of the works, Nina Seropova, welcomed participants and briefed them about the Hayartun Center’s activity, its groups and organized events and made a presentation on main areas of cooperation with students. The speakers highlighted the education and self-development of Armenian young generation as the key factors in becoming more competitive. The president of Young Diplomats’ Club of Georgia, Giorgi Tumasyan, noted that Hayartun Center plays a major role in bringing young Armenians together and encouraging them to work for the benefit of the Armenian people. He highly appreciated the participation and involvement of the students in Hayartun Center’ work. The participants discussed several issues regarding the establishment of Armenian Students’ Association of Georgia and creating professional clubs, where students could bring their ideas to life and thus promote the development of community life.
