Reverend Father Torgom Vardanyan Performs His First Liturgy in the Armenian Diocese of Georgia |
On September 20, 2015, Rev. Fr. Torgom Vardanyan, appointed to serve in the Armenian Diocese in Georgia by His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, performed his first Divine Liturgy in the Saint Etchmiadzin Church in Tbilisi, under the leadership of the Primate of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia, His Grace Bishop Vazgen Mirzakhanyan. During the Divine Liturgy, His Grace Bishop Vazgen offered his blessings and best wishes to the newly-appointed priest. After presenting his brief biography, His Grace informed the congregation that Reverend Father is appointed to serve in the Surb Grigor Lusavorich Church (Saint Gregory the Illuminator), in the city of Akhaltsikhe, Samtskhe-Javakheti and Tsalka's General Prelacy of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia. Then Rev. Fr. Torgom Vardanyan properly read a sermon on the sacrament of the day. On October 4, 2015, the Primate of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia, His Grace Bishop Vazgen Mirzakhanyan will introduce Rev. Fr. Torgom Vardanyan to the local congregation. |
