On September 13, 2016, Batumi’s Alexander Mantashev Educational Cultural Youth Center at the Armenian Diocese in Georgia was opened for the start of the new 2016-17 academic year. The students of the Center, which has St. Gregory the Illuminator Kindergarten, St. Mesrop Mashtots Sunday School, Aghbyur Youth Vocal Ensemble, Heghnar Dance Group, a drama circle and recitation classes, entered already familiar place with great enthusiasm. The Vramshapuh Sunday Schoool in Qobuleti also has started its new academic year. The optimism is also buoyed by the fact that this year the Alexander Mantashev Educational Cultural Youth Center has 220 students of different age groups and they will strengthen their Armenian language skills, learn national songs, dances, master performing skills, receive Armenian upbringing. The admission process continues. |
