Saint Movses Khorenatsi Students Say Goodbye to Preschool |
On June 26,2015, the morning performance of the "St. Movses Khorenatsi" Preschool graduating students of the 2014/2015 academic year was held in the Calouste Gulbenkian Hall of the Hayartun Center. Senior group studnets dressed in the national Taraz costumes were proudly sitting in the center of the hall decorated with colorful balloons. The event was attended by the Primate of the Armenian Diocese, His Grace Bishop Vazgen Mirzakhanyan, the wife of the Ambassador of RA to Georgia, Eleonora Vardanyan, a benefactor from Novosibirsk, Boris Saakov, officials, parents, representatives of intelligentsia and other guests. After the Lord's Prayer and blessings received from the Primate, a special video report prepared by the Hayartun Center was shown, representing an ordinary day at the preschool with classes, games and other activities. During the performance full of recitation, song and dance, students showed everything they learnt from teachers Lala Gevorgyan, Oksana Sharoyan, Oksana Osipova, Metaksia Ghazaryan, Deacon Gevorg Antonyan and pianist Hovhannes Shahnazaryan. The Director of the Educational Department, Eugenia Markosyan praised the patriotic activity and contribution in the development of the Armenian education of the preschool staff and parents. The children received congratulations and beautiful presents from Mrs. Eleonora Vardanyan. Benefactor Boris Saakov tries to attend the preschool events every time he arrives in Tbilisi in the last four years. He appreciated highly the activity of the preschool dedicated to the preservation of the national traditions. The Primate of the Armenian Diocese, His Grace Bishop Vazgen Mirzakhanyan gave a concluding speech and thanked the management, teachers and parents. His Grace didn't forget to highlight the role of the Nersisyan school and Mariamyan-Hovnanyan college for girls in the development of the national education and expressed hope that similar school will be soon founded here and children will have an opportunity to continue their education in such a high-level place. Then the students received graduation certificates. After the event, the Primate of the Armenian Diocese and Rev.Fr. Ter Narek Ghushchyan conducted a mass baptism of not baptised children of the preschool. |
