On November 4, 2014 the Chairman of Tbilisi Assembly (Sakrebulo) Giorgi Alibegashvili welcomed the Primate of the Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Holy Church in Georgia, His Grace Bishop Vazgen Mirzakhanyan in his residence. The Director of Legal Affairs and Cooperation Department of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia, Levon Isakhanyan, also attended the meeting.

“Tiflis, you are a muse” – this was the headline of the nice evening in the hall of the Composers’ Union in Georgia on October 25, 2014. The evening was initiated by the famous artist and a well known collector from Tbilisi Alexey Piradov, with the support of the Composers’ Union of Georgia and the Union of Armenians in Georgia. The Primate of the Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Holy Church in Georgia,
His Grace Bishop Vazgen Mirzakhanyan, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to Georgia H.E. Mr. Yuri Vardanyan, writer and translator Guivi Muradyan, the editor of the newspaper “Georgia” Van Bayburtyan, representatives of Armenian and Georgian fans of arts and music were attending the event.

On October 31, 2014 “Nerses the Shnorhali” youth choir at “Hayartun” center of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia visited the village Karmir in Marneuli district. The purpose of the visit was to popularize Armenian culture in Armenian localities and create song and dance groups there.

Young Armenians from Georgia got acquainted with the historical and cultural values of Armenia and Artsakh PDF Print E-mail

On October 21-23, 2014, a group of 20 active boys and girls from the Armenian Diocese in Georgia, headed by the Department Director Valeri Badalyan, visited Nagorno-Karabakh Republic. The purpose of the visit was to introduce spiritual and cultural monuments of Armenia and Artsakh to Armenian youth, who live in Tbilisi and Georgia and have consolidated around the Armenian Diocese. It also aimed to converge the heroic Artsakh people. The visit was realized under the auspices of the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs of RA. The Armenian Diocese and the youth department express its gratefulness and appreciation to the Ministry for organizing the event.
