On October 28, 2014 at the invitation of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic to Georgia H.E. Mr. Thomas Pernický, the spiritual shepherd of St. Gevrog Cathedral at the Armenian Diocese in Georgia the priest Narek Ghushchyan and deacon Gevorg Antonyan participated in the national holiday of the Czech Republic, in the organ music evening devoted to the 96^th anniversary of the Republic. The event took place in Tbilisi St. Poghos-Petros Catholic Cathedral. The representatives of diplomatic missions in Georgia attended the event.

The musician Martin Maksmilyan Kayzer made a nice pipe organ performance during the evening. He performed works of different European musicians and was warmly applauded by the audience.

At the end of the event, the priest St. Narek Ghushchyan passed the congratulations and best wishes of the Primate of the Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Georgia, His Grace Bishop Vazgen Mirzakhanyan to the Ambassador Mr. Pernický, and presented a nice icon to him.

On October 26, 2014 “Nerses the Shnorhali” youth ensemble of “Hayartun” center at the Armenian Diocese in Georgia gave a concert in Akhaltskha. The event was devoted to “Tbilisoba” holiday. The ensemble created a holiday atmosphere in the local St. Gregory the Illuminator church, where the concert was intended to take place. Thanks to the efforts of spiritual representatives of the church and the community members, the problem of lightening was solved and the Spiritual Fathers made their blessings. Then spiritual and national songs were performed by Nerses the Shnorhali ensemble under the church arches. The audience warmly applauded to the concert of the ensemble, headed by the Conductor Maria Abulyan and piano player Karen Mirzoyan.

On October 27, 2014, a member of Parliament of Georgia, a leader of the ruling “Georgian Dream” coalition, Zakaria Kutsnashvili had a meeting with the representatives of the Armenian community. The meeting took place in the Parliament of Georgia.

On October 25-26, 2014 Yerevan Municipality Delegation, with the head of the Deputy Mayor Davit Ohanyan, visited Tbilisi on the occasion of “Tbilisoba” holiday. Secretary of the Staff of Yerevan Municipality Sergey Makaryan, Head of the Protocol Department Harutyun Hakobyan and the head of Achapnyak administrative district of Yerevan Artavazd Sargsyan were the members of the delegation. Within the framework of holiday events the delegation visited Havlabar St. Echmiadzin Church on October 26. The guests participated in the Sacred Liturgy, listened to the Primate’s sermon on the meaning of the day, as well as lit candles and prayed in the ancient Armenian temple.
