The exhibition-contest of Christmas trees made from recycled materials that was organized by esthetic education teacher, Tamar Sulkhanishvili, in cooperation with Hayartun Center (Director Levon Chidilyan) and with Children’s Art Studio (Teacher Tamar Sulkhanishvili), became an original message for environmental preservation. The goal was to show that the New Year can be decorated not with cut down Christmas trees but with the original ones made from recycled materials.

On December 12, 2014 the exhibition of documentary materials dedicated to the 190th anniversary of Nersisyan School, was opened in Calouste Gulbenkian hall at Hayartun Center. It was organized by Hayartun Center in cooperation with the National Archives of Armenia and with the support of Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation. The opening was attended by the employees of the National Archives of Armenia and by the representatives of the Armenian community in Georgia.

On December 12, 2014, during the official visit to Georgia, RA Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan and his delegation members visited the Pantheon of Khojivanq in Tbilisi, where Armenian writers and public figures are buried.
The guests were welcomed by the head of Samtskhe-Javakheti’s prelacy of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia, Father Babgen Salibyan, together with the local clergy. The delegation members laid flowers on the tombs of Armenian great men. A requiem mass was performed for the peace of their souls.

On December 7, 2014 the leader of the Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Georgia, His Grace Bishop Vazgen Mirzakhanyan conducted the Sunday Divine Liturgy in St. Echmiadzin church.The sacred ceremony was attended by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiaryof RA to Georgia, Mr. Yuri Vardanyan and his wife, the member of the Georgian Parliament, Mr. Ruslan Vardanyan, the representatives of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia and civil society members.
