February 4, 2017, became a special day to the students of the Hayartun Center at the Armenian Diocese in Georgia, particularly the students of the “Surb Grigor Narekatsi” (“Saint Gregory of Narek”) Saturday School and the juniors of Taron Dance Group. Led by the Educational Department Director, Eugenia Markosyan, and the Director of the Youth Department, Valeri Badalyan, almost thirty children went on excursion to Experimentorium – Museum of Entertaining Science in Tbilisi. The excursion was initiated and sponsored by the Caucasian Partnership NGO, the Head of which is Hovhannes Manukian, the former Ambassador of Armenia to Georgia. The aforementioned museum has about 80 exhibits showing laws of physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics and astronomy. The children, led by a guide, could touch and exam the exhibits. Whole exposition of the museum is interactive and is designed to ensure that every visitor could touch everything and conduct scientific experiments with their own hands. The children could measure level of their shout voice, make dry ice, sit on nails, lift a friend in the air, catch a thunder in their hands etc. The “Hayartun” Center’s administration expresses its gratefulness to the Caucasian Partnership NGO for organizing the excursion to Experimentorium Museum and providing the children an opportunity to communicate entertaining science. |
