The Fund for Armenian Relief was founded in 1988 with blessing and support of the prelate of the US Eastern Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church, Archbishop Khazhak Parsamyan to provide urgent humanitarian relief for the victims of Spitak earthquake. Today Fund for Armenian Relief is engaged in humanitarian aid, development of social and economic assistance, as well as shows support for educational programs. CASP project of Fund for Armenian Relief provides social aid to orphans. It is implemented in Armenia, Artsakh, and in highland region of Javakhk. The project has been launched in Akhalkalaki and spread through all the villages of the region, 76 children enrolled in the program with the help of this assistance can solve some social and household problems. Almost for 10 years, this charitable organization, expanding the scope of its activities, has been helping children, who were born in Javakheti and have experienced orphanage. Today the children prayed for the benefactors, program organizers and everyone, who residing in the USA doesn’t forget to allocate the portion of their earnings to help orphans. The Vicar-General of Javakhk Supreme Archimandrite Babken Salbiyan delivered a speech, he expressed his gratitude towards the prelate of the US Eastern Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church, Archbishop Khazhak Parsamyan, Executive Director of FAR Garnik Nanagulyan, Edik Karapetyan, Coordinator at Fund for Armenian Relief, Armenia Branch, who spare no effort to support the vulnerable.
