On March 23, 2013 the “Hayartun” Cultural Center of the Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Orthodox Church in Georgia hosted an event in Calouste Gulbenkian Hall, dedicated to the preservation of the native language. The students of the Saint Prophet Eghia Sunday School (teacher Roza Zograbyan), who just a few months ago had started to learn the Armenian language and alphabet created by Mesrop Mashtot, took part in literary and musical performance.

On 30 March 2013, in honor of the Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, on Easter Eve, in the Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Orthodox Church in Georgia Easter gifts were handed to believers. Charity event was initiated by the clergy of the Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Orthodox Church in Georgia, Embassy of RA in Georgia, Union of Armenian Women in Georgia “Shushanik” , young volunteers and individual benefactors.

On 28 March, on Holy Thursday, in Tbilisi Surb Etchmiadzin Church of the Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Georgia under the leadership of the Primate of the Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Orthodox Church in Georgia, His Grace Bishop Vazgen Mirzakhanyan Divine Liturgy was conducted. Priest Manuk Zeinalian held a church service. After that the Spiritual Shepherd in Tbilisi Surb Etchmiadzin Church Samvel Torosian read a sermon on the occasion.

Armenian Apostolic Holy Church on the Sunday before Easter celebrates Palm Sunday. Palm Sunday symbolizes the triumphal "Entry of the Lord into Jerusalem". The Catholicos of All Armenians His Holiness Karekin II announced Palm Sunday the Day of Blessing the Children. According to the Gospels, Jesus rode a donkey into Jerusalem, and the celebrating people there lay down their cloaks in front of him, and also lay down small branches of trees. The people sang: “Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord. We bless you from the house of the Lord .”

On 31 March 2013 Armenian Apostolic Orthodox Church solemnly celebrated the Resurrection of Jesus of Christ. Holy Easter services were also conducted in the Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Orthodox Church in Georgia. The Head of the Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Orthodox Church in Georgia, His Grace Bishop Vazgen Mirzakhanian made a pilgrimage to Adjara. On Saturday under the leadership of His Eminence the Festive Mass "Chragaluyts" - lighting the torches- was held on the eve of the Lord's Resurrection at Surb Prkich Church in Batumi.
