On November 3, 2013 Calouste Gulbenkian Hall of the “Hayartun” Cultural Center at the Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Georgia hosted a meeting of the representatives of the American University of Armenia with the Armenian youth of Georgia. The Admission Committee Coordinator Karine Satamian, the representative of communication services Tatevik Vardanian and Vahram Ghushchian, Dean of the Faculty of Economics, who came from Yerevan, presented in detail the teaching methodology, education programs and advantages of the diploma of the American University of Armenia. On October 24-28, 2013 a group of pilgrims from the Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Georgia, with financial assistance from the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, and under the guidance and with the blessing of the Primate of the Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Georgia, His Grace Bishop Vazgen Mirzakhanian, paid an introductory visit to Armenia and Artsakh, which marked the partnership. The Department of Youth Affairs of the Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Georgia headed by Deacon Gevorg Antonian had organized the pilgrimage. Mathew, Mark, Luke and John the faithful of Surb Etchmiadzin Church in Tbilisi, under the leadership of the Primate of the Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Georgia, His Grace Bishop Vazgen Mirazakhanian, visited Surb Astvatsatsin Church of Shahumyan settlement in Marneuli region, where reconstruction work is being conducted.
