The solemn observance of the Armenian Christmas Eve starts on the evening of January 5, as a new ecclesiastical day starts after the evening service, at 17:00.

Calouste Gulbenkian Hall of the “Hayartun” Center at the Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Georgia became like a winter forest, while the students of St. Movses Khorenatsi Kindergarten dressed in interesting costumes turned into different forest “animals” living in the winter cold. And in this “forest” the kindergarten students should have met the Santa Clause, who would have come with presents and New Year greetings.

The “Hayartun” Center of the Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Georgia hosted one more holiday event. On December 26 St. Nerses Shorhali Youth Choir of the “Hayartun” Center gave a concert.
St.Nerses Shnorhali Youth Choir was formed along with the “Hayartun” Center opening. Under the expert guidance of outstanding choirmaster Maria Abulyan and to the accompaniment of piano-player Karen Mirzoyan, boys and girls from ages 8 to 15 years study our classical and folk songs, master the performing art and skillfully present Armenian choral music on different stages, both in Tbilisi and in Armenia.

On December 21 Calouste Gulbenkian Hall of the “Hayartun” Center at the Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Georgia hosted another event, which under the auspices of the “Hayartun” Center was initiated by the Association of Armenian Women in Georgia “Shushanik” (Chairperson Susanna Khachaturian) and the aesthetic education group of the center (Teacher Tamara Sulkhanishvili). Superbly decorated hall promised to spring an interesting surprise on visitors. Various pictures, created through the imagination of students of the aesthetic education group of the center, were located on the walls, while beautifully arranged works, that the participants of the contest-festival had prepared, were located in the center of the hall.
