On October 17-18, 2013 the “Hayartun” Cultural, Educational and Youth Center, in partnership with Football Against Racism in Europe (FARE) network, arranged football tournament. The tournament was organized in the framework of Pan-European Programme “Fare Football People Action Weeks 2013”. The aim of the tournament was to popularize ideas of equality and tolerance and to promote healthy life-style among Tbilisi public school students.

On October 18, 2013 Georgian Presidential Candidate Shalva Natelashvili visited the “Hayartun” Cultural, Educational and Youth Center, where he met with the representatives of the Armenian community of Georgia. Mr. Shalva was the second presidential candidate after Nino Burjanadze, who in context of his electoral campaign met with the Armenian community, within the framework of meeting-discussion series organized by the “Hayartun” Center.

On October 15, at the “Hayartun” Center of the Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Georgia a solemn opening ceremony of dhol classes took place. Continuing activities for the good of the nation, with the support of RA Ministry of Diaspora and the “Hayartun” Center at the Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Georgia, the Armenian guys of Tbilisi 7-15 years of age will learn to play the Armenian national instrument –dhol.

On October 13, the Calouste Gulbenkian Hall of the “Hayartun” Cultural Center at the Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Georgia hosted a literary-musical evening, dedicated to the Feast of the Holy Translators, entitled “The Armenian Renaissance: Medieval Literature and Music”, organized by the Union of Armenian Intellectuals of Georgia and the Assembly of Tbilisi Armenians, with the support of the “Hayartun” Center at the Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Georgia.
