On January 22, 2017, the Calouste Gulbenkian Hall of the Hayartun Center at the Armenian Diocese in Georgia hosted the next slideshow from “The Unknowns about the Known…” lecture series. Famous miniature painter Gohar Hakobyan was a slideshow presenter. Before the lecture, a minute of silence was observed in memory of recently deceased Anahit Bostanjyan.

On January 19, 2007, Hrant Dink, the editor-in-chief of the bilingual Turkish-Armenian newspaper “Agos”, was assassinated in Istanbul. The 10th anniversary of the murder of the Great Armenian was marked with different events in Turkey, Armenia and the Diaspora. The Armenian community of Tbilisi led by the Armenian Diocese in Georgia also joined the initiative.

On January 20, 2017, the Ecumenical Prayer service for Christian unity was held in Tbilisi.

On January 15, 2017, in the Saint Etchmiadzin Church in Tbilisi, under the presidency of His Grace Bishop Vazgen Mirzakhanyan, Primate of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia, Rev. Father Virap Ghazaryan, Pastor of the St. Etchmiadzin Church, celebrated the Divine Liturgy.
