On June 26, 2016, following the Divine Liturgy in the Surb Prkich Church (Saint Savior) in Batumi, the faithful headed to the Alexander Mantashev Educational Cultural Youth Center at the Armenian Diocese in Georgia to attend a concert program.

On June 26, 2016, at the initiative of Rev. Father Ararat Gumbalyan, Pastor of Armenian community in Adjara, Guria and Imereti; an Ecumenical Service and Peace Prayer was held in the Surb Prkich Church (Saint Savior) in Batumi. The joint prayer was attended by Father Gabriel Bragantini, Pastor of the Roman Catholic Church. A joint service was conducted and Peace Prayer was raised, with the participation of the Pastors of both churches, the clergy and many faithful, as an answer to the Ecumenical Service under the presidency of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; and Pope Francis of the Roman Catholic Church; which had been held in the Republic Square of Yerevan.

With the blessings of His Grace Bishop Vazgen Mirzakhanyan, the Primate of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia, and His Grace Bishop Bagrat Galstanyan, the Primate of the Diocese of Tavush, as well as at the invitation of Rev. Father Ararat Gumbalyan, Pastor of the Surb Prkich Church (Saint Savior) in Batumi, 17 children and young people from different communities of Tavush region, led by Mary Tukhikyan, the Director of the Tavush Diocese Social- Educational Center, visited Batumi. The project was implemented with the support of Very Rev. Fr. Babken Salbiyan, the Prelate of Samtskhe-Javakheti and Tsalka's General Prelacy of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia.

On June 24, 2016, the Saint Nerses Shnorhali Youth Choir of the Hayartun Center at the Armenian Diocese in Georgia accompanied by choirmaster Maria Abulyan, accompanier Karen Mirzoyan, the Director of the Cultural Department and the Head of the Hayartun Center, Levon Chidilyan, the Youth Department Director, Valery Badalyan, Youth Programs Coordinator, Nina Seropova, paid a visit to Dilijan Community Center. The choir operating under the auspices of Dilijan Community Center, one of IDeA Foundation programs, which realizes projects facilitating development of cultural life in Dilijan,(choirmaster Serine Khachatryan and accompanier Margarita Voskanyan) has given a performance in Tbilisi recently. This was a reciprocal visit of the Saint Nerses Shnorhali Youth Choir to Dilijan.
