On June 19, 2016, the Calouste Gulbenkian Hall of the Hayartun Center at the Armenian Diocese in Georgia hosted a meeting with the delegation of the Yerevan Haybusak University, a private university in Armenia. Members of delegation included the Rector of the Haybusak University, Academician of the Russian Academy of Medical Science, Suren Harutyunyan; Anahit Harutyunyan, the President of the International Academy of Education; Yanina Marinosyan, Candidate of Medical Sciences; Professor of Astrophysical Sciences, Martin Abramyan. In attendance were Tbilisi Armenian intellectuals, parents, school students, prospective university students.

On June 18, 2016, two-storey building of the Armenian Youth Center, named after the Prime Minister of the First Republic of Armenia, born in Akhalkalaki Hamo Ohanjanyan , solemnly opened. In attendance were many guests, the clergy, intellectuals, community officials from Armenia and different regions of Javakheti. The Armenian Diocese in Georgia was represented by the delegation from Tbilisi, led by Very Rev. Father Khoren Hovhannisyan, assistant to the Primate of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia. Members of delegation included the Director of the Cultural department and the Head of the Hayartun Center, Levon Chidilyan; Michael Avagyan, Head of Legal Affairs and Cooperation Department; the Founder of The Peace Foundation, Giorgi Tumasyan.
