On the 16^th of July, 2013 in Georgian Tserovani settlement, within the framework of Youth Leadership Training Program, a four-day camp was started. During thedaysspent inthe camp 36 young people from theArmenian-populatedregions andvillagesof Georgiawill undergotraining for youngleaders of community.Theywill hear lectureson the following topics: the history of the Armenian people andthe Armenian Church,Armenianhistorical andculturalmonuments inTbilisi,the rights of ethnicand religious minorities, civil society and local government.There will also be training onthe development of localcultural life.

On the 14th of July, already for the 29^th time, on a traditional day for honoring Jivani (born Serob Stepani Levonian) - the outstanding representative of Armenian ashik art, the admirers of his works had gathered in the birthplace of ashik, in Kartsakh village near Akhalkalaki. The holiday started with the Divine Liturgy in the restored and consecrated a year ago Surb Hovhannes-Karapet Church, which in 1830s’ was built in Kartsakh village. The spiritual shepherd of the community Priest Tigran Mkhitaryan conducted the divine service. After the Divine Liturgy the Vicar-General of Javakhk Supreme Archimandrite Babken Salbiyan delivered a sermon and congratulated the faithful. A prayer for the repose of Jivani’s soul was also served after the end of the Divine Liturgy. After that the clergy together with the representatives of local authorities visited the monument to great Jivani, situated in the center of the village, and laid roses at the monument to the philosopher and publicist, moralist and composer - ashik Jivani.

According to the calendar of the Armenian Apostolic Orthodox Holy Church, on the 7^th of July, Vardavar - Feast of Transfiguration of Our Lord Jesus Christ was celebrated. The faithful of the Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Georgia, at the initiative of the spiritual shepherd of Surb Etchmiadzin Church in Tbilisi Priest Samvel Torosyan, marked this day with a pilgrimage to Surb Hovhannes Chapel in Mets Parni village (Galtakhchi).

On the 7^th of July, at the “Hayartun” Center of the Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Georgia, the same name yearbook presentation of the “Vernatun” Union of Armenian Writers of Georgia was held. This organization, which brings together Armenian creative people of Georgia, almost ten years ago has created its yearbook, in which each biennium the works and translations of union members and not only, in Armenian, Russian, and this year already in Georgian, are published. Within the framework of the 500th anniversary of Armenian Printing RA Ministry of Diaspora financed the publication of the 9^th annual book. The members from Tbilisi organization of the “Vernatun” Union of Armenian Writers of Georgia, as well as from Javakheti Merenia village in Akhalkalaki region and Gandza, Heshtia villages in Ninotsminda region, creative figures of the older, middle-aged and younger generation, intellectuals and the readership attended the presentation.
