In Batumi Arts Center, within the framework of the program “Folklore Summer-2013”, concert series were held, in which music and dance groups from different cities of Armenia and Georgia took part. Armenia was represented by “Vahagn” dhol players’ ensemble from Yerevan, “Haykakan Zardankhsher” from Gyumri, dance ensemble “Ani” from Vanadzor, students of Abovyan Music College of Pop and Jazz. They presented to the audience Armenian folk songs and dances.

According to tradition every year the Armenian youth from Adjara participates in the "Ari Tun" program, launched by RA Ministry of Diaspora. They travel to Armenia, visit the places of interest, live in the Armenian families, and make friends with their peers from the Armenian Diaspora around the world. At night - Jule 6, 2013, the young people leaving for Yerevan, at Surb Prkich Church in Batumi, took part in ceremony called “Khokum” (to ponder, muse). Priest Ararat Gumbalyan blessed the youth. He advised young people not to feel themselves just like tourists in their homeland, but as pilgrims.

On the 5-6th July, at the sessions hall of the RA National Academy of Sciences, the second Pan-Armenian Forum of Lawyers, organized by RA Ministry of Diaspora and the Pan-Armenian Council of Lawyers, which was attended by about 100 well-known experts from Armenia, Diaspora and Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, took place. Adviser to the Head of the Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Georgia, the Head of the Legal Department of the Diocese, Levon Isakhanyan also took part in the conference.

This year the Armenian Apostolic Church celebrated Vardavar on the 7th of July. In honor of the holiday, in the amphitheater at the artificial lake, a gorgeous concert, dedicated to the holiday Vardavar, was held, in which dance ensembles from different regions and from the "Hayartun" Cultural Center of the Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Georgia took part. Before the beginning of the concert, at the Church of St. Gregory the Illuminator in Akhaltsikhe, a festive liturgy was held in honor of the holiday, after which young people organized the traditional pouring of water on each other in the yard of the Church.

On the 9th of July, in Hakob Paronyan Musical Comedy Theatre of Yerevan, RA Ministry of Diaspora solemnly launched the third stage of the “Ari Tun” program for cognitive visits of Diaspora Armenian youth to Armenia.
The participants of the third stage of “Ari Tun” program are 170 Armenian youth from Russia, Romania, France, Germany, Ukraine, the United States of America, Georgia, Israel and Belarus.
