On November 16, 2016, in connection with the International Day for Tolerance, Catholicos Patriarch of All Georgia, His Holiness and Beatitude Ilia II hosted representatives of religious minorities. The Georgian Orthodox Church and Georgia’s State Agency for Religious Issues jointly organized the event. His Holiness called the reception “a big and important day”, as it brought together people from different nationalities and religions, highlighted centuries-old unity of Georgia and the traditions of the country.

On November 15, 2016, the open lesson entitled “Golden Autumn” of the junior group of the St. Gregory the Illuminator Kindergarten was held at the Alexander Mantashev Educational Cultural Youth Center of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia.

On November 13, 2016, the interest to the activities of the Ayb educational complex in Yerevan and Dilijan brought together the attendees, who took their seats in the Calouste Gulbenkian hall of the Hayartun Center at the Armenian Diocese in Georgia. The Armenian community of Georgia has an urgent dream to create a national school, hence, the interest in the Ayb learning environment which has elementary, middle and high schools, is understandable. Ayb School Head Aram Pakhchanian who had specially arrived from Yerevan on this occasion spoke in detail about innovative education model.

At the initiative of the Youth Department of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia (Director: Valery Badalyan) and with the support of the Diocese, on November 12, 2016, the Calouste Gulbenkian hall of the Hayartun Center at the Armenian Diocese in Georgia hosted a meeting with Armenian youth studying at different higher education institutions of Georgia. 100 boys and girls from Tbilisi and other parts of Georgia, who are attending one-year preparatory course and are already studying at the universities, took their seats in the hall.
