Exhibition of Works by Female Artists from Etchmiadzin Entitled “Renaissance” at the Hayartun Center PDF Print E-mail

On April 21, 2016, the walls of the Calouste Gulbenkian Hall of the Hayartun Center at the Armenian Diocese in Georgia were decorated with paintings of Arevik Mkrtchyan, Manan Muradyan and Gohar Harutyunyan, the female artists from Etchmiadzin, Republic of Armenia. Featuring 30 paintings, the exhibition entitled “Renaissance” was initiated by the Hayartun Center at the Armenian Diocese in Georgia, with the support of the Department of Cultural Affairs at the City Hall of Etchmiadzin and the Armenian Diocese in Georgia, in cooperation with the Union of Armenian Artists of Georgia and the Association of Armenian Women of Georgia “Shushanik”. The exhibition was organized in the frameworks of events of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia commemorating the Holy Martyrs and dedicated to the 101st Anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.

Armenian Youth of Georgia Visited Georgian Presidential Palace PDF Print E-mail

At the initiative of LEPL Information Center on NATO and EU, in the framework of NATO week, on April 16, 2016, the Armenian youth took a tour of Georgia’s Presidential Palace. Students from Javakheti studying at public institutions of higher education in Tbilisi and activists of the Youth Department and the Hayartun Cultural Educational and Youth Center at the Armenian Diocese in Georgia, were in attendance at the event.

Easter Celebrations in St. Movses Khorenatsi Kindergarten PDF Print E-mail

On April 20, 2016, the Calouste Gulbenkian Hall of the “Hayartun” Center at the Armenian Diocese in Georgia hosted a celebration of Easter featuring the students of the Diocesan St. Movses Khorenatsi Kindergarten. The clergy, the Hayartun Center’s staff, parents and guests took their seats in the hall decorated in accordance with the feast.

The Taron Dance Group Placed Second in Dance Competition PDF Print E-mail

On April 16-17, 2016, Tbilisi was hosting the International Dance Olympiad. Representatives of 12 countries arrived at Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, to participate in Sports Dances International Olympiad. Within the framework of the Olympiad, local and foreign dance groups and solo performers performed inspiring sports and folk dances at the new Sports Palace in Tbilisi. The aim of the Olympiad was promoting the development of culture and sport, physical culture and health care, as well as supporting women sports teams.
