8 out of 16 graduates of St. Movses Khorenatsi Kindergarten, operating at the “Hayartun” Center of the Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Georgia, will continue their education at Armenian school, specifically, at Armenian Public School № 104 in Tbilisi.

On May 4, 2014 the “Hayartun” Cultural, Educational and Youth Center organized a pilgrimage to the Armenian medieval monasteries located in the Lori region of the Republic of Armenia. There were Armenian, Georgian, Russian, Ukrainian, and Kazakh pilgrims taking part in the pilgrimage. In all, 130 people from ages 6 to 70 years participated in the pilgrimage.

At the initiative of the “Vernatun” Union of Armenian Writers of Georgia (President Gevorg Snkhchyan) and under the auspices of the “Hayartun” Center at the Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Georgia, on May 3 in Bolnisi village of Bolnisi region the traditional Ghazaros Aghayan’s Day was celebrated. Delegations from Tbilisi, Javakheti and Yerevan had arrived at the birthplace of the great Armenian teacher, writer and public figure; there were students, teachers, parents, people devoted to literature and the readership gathered in the yard of Ghazaros Aghayan House Museum. The clergy of the Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Georgia Priest Narek Ghushchyan, Priest Armash Poghosyan, acting Gamgebeli of Bolnisi Municipality Alexandra Oboladze, Chairman of Sakrebulo of Bolnisi Municipality Jhony Khetsuriani, Ghazaros Aghayan’s relatives Ruben Aghayan and Armen Shahdadyan attended the festive event.

On April 29, 2014 the “Hayartun” Center at the Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Georgia, under the leadership of the Primate of the Diocese, His Grace Bishop Vazgen Mirzakhanyan, hosted the first session of Georgian regional commission of the council coordinating the events devoted to the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide. Counselor of RA Embassy to Georgia Levon Torgomyan attended the meeting; he conveyed greetings and best wishes from the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Armenia to Georgia Hovhannes Manoukian. Representatives from Tbilisi, all the regions of Samtskhe-Javakheti, Tsalka and Batumi participated in the session.

These pages not only spread truthful information on the activities of the Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Georgia and the “Hayartun” Educational and Cultural Center, in Armenian, Georgian, Russian and English, but also spread news about the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, the Republic of Armenia and Armenian Diaspora. The pages have thousands of visitors. Valera Badalyan who is responsible for Electronic media service as a result of careful and logical research identified the most active visitor of the “Hayartun” pages, who frequently shared links and pushed the Like button.
