On February 1, 2014 the Calouste Gulbenkian Hall of the “Hayartun” Center at the Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Georgia hosted a concert of students of Tbilisi Art School № 10 named after Aram Khachaturian entitled “Friendly Visit”, which was dedicated to the 110th anniversary of the great Armenian composer Aram Khachaturian. It was initiated by the Union of Armenian Musicians of Georgia, with the support of the “Hayartun” Center and in collaboration with Tbilisi Art School № 10 named after Aram Khachaturian. Deputy Ambassador of RA to Georgia Vahagn Afyan and his wife, veteran teachers of Art School № 10, famous musicians, artists, parents, graduates and current students of the music school were among the honored guests.

Delegation of the Ministry of Education and Science of Armenia, headed by Minister Armen Ashotyan had arrived on official visit in Tbilisi at the invitation of the Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, and on February 1, 2014 visited Surb Etchmiadin Church at the Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Georgia, where they met with the Primate of the Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Georgia, His Grace Bishop Vazgen Mirzakhanyan, Georgian MP Ruslan Poghosian, the clergy, Heads of Departments at the Diocese, leaders of Armenian civic organizations in Tbilisi and community representatives. The delegation consisted of Director of the National Institute of Education at the Ministry of Education and Science of Armenia, Mr. Norayr Ghukasyan, the Head of Public Relation and Information Department at the Ministry of Education and Science of Armenia, Mr. Artur Baghdasaryan, the Head of the Diaspora Ties Department of the Armenian Education and Science Ministry, Nune Vardanyan, Rector of the Armenian State Pedagogical University after Khachatur Abovyan, Mr. Ruben Mirzakhanyan. The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Armenia to Georgia Hovhannes Manoukian also attended the meeting.

At the initiative of “Shen” nonprofit organization (Chairman Michael Avakyan) and with the support of Jinishian Foundation, in 2013 the project under the slogan “Let’s help high school students of village schools” was implemented for the youth of Armenian-inhabited villages of Tsalka region. The aim of the project was to teach handicrafts to the young people, give them the opportunity to find a job and earn money in the future. Two teachers from Tsalka region – Varsenik Babertsyan (felt work) and Anzhela Gevorgyan (pottery) preliminary underwent in Tbilisi three months of training and returned to the region with a mission to impart their knowledge to young people.

On January 24, 2014 under the arches of Surb Etchmiadzin Church annual ecumenical prayer for the unity of Christians was served. Prayer motto was: «It is impossible to divide the body of Christ».
The Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Orthodox Holy Church in Georgia in 2014 took over the Chairmanship of Council of Leaders of Christian Sister Churches and Denominations. At the invitation of the Primate of the Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Georgia, the Head of the Roman Catholic Church in Georgia, His Eminence Bishop Giuseppe Pasotto, the Head of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Georgia, His Eminence Bishop Hans-Joachim Kiderlen, the Head of the Evangelical Baptist Church in Georgia, His Eminence Bishop Ilia Osepashvili and groups of clergy and parishioners from other Sister Churches and denominations took part in ecumenical prayer.
