On February 23, 2014 the Calouste Gulbenkian Hall of the “Hayartun” Center at the Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Georgia hosted a meeting with Ashot Galstyan, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Native language at the Armenian State Pedagogical University after Khachatur Abovyan. The main purpose of the meeting was to present to Armenians of Georgia the admissions to full-time and distance courses for the 2014-2015 academic year.

The “Hayartun” Center at the Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Georgia marked the 145th birthday anniversary of “Great inhabitant of Lori” by a literary-musical evening, initiated by the “Hayartun” Center in collaboration with the “VernatunUnion of Armenian Writers of Georgia and the "Kamurj" Public, Literary and Cultural Organization.

February 16 marked the 40th day after Jimmy Torosyan’s death, the Honored Architect of the Republic of Armenia, Academician, who has occupied an undiminished place in the international architectural arena. The Union of Armenian Intellectuals of Georgia, with the support of the “Hayartun” Center at the Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Georgia and at the initiative of the Union of Architects of Georgia, organized memorial evening to mark the day, when the soul of great scientist left the earth.
