On April 1, 2017, according to the Armenian Church Calendar, the commemoration day dedicated to the memory of St. Gregory the Illuminator, the first Catholicos of All Armenians, was celebrated. The feast is dedicated to the torments which St. Gregory suffered during his imprisonment.

On March 26, 2017, the Calouste Gulbenkian hall of the Hayartun Center at the Armenian Diocese in Georgia hosted “Mine Free Lachin” campaign presentation. The event was presented by the initiator of the campaign. ONEArmenia in partnership with The HALO Trust (HALO) has launched a crowdfunding campaign Mine Free Lachin. The HALO Trust is the world’s largest humanitarian mine clearance organization. According to the release by the HALO Trust, since 1995 there have been 370 civilian casualties, as a result of landmines and unexploded ordnance. HALO Trust has been working to clear Artsakh of landmines since 2000. To date they have cleared 453 minefields totaling 45, 872, 000 m2 of land.

On March 26, 2017, the Rafael Javakh Cultural Educational and Youth Center in Ninotsminda at the Armenian Diocese in Georgia hosted a ceremony of paying homage to renowned writer and ethnographer Albert Isoyan. Among the attendees were Georgian-Armenian writers, the Center’s students and teachers, as well as Albert Isoyan’s family and close ones.

On March 26, 2017, at the invitation of the Spiritual Superintendence of Akhaltsikhe, Samtskhe-Javakheti and Tsalka's General Prelacy of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia, the “Erivan” Dance Ensemble (Artistic Director Vardan Karapetyan) from the Republic of Armenian arrived in Akhaltsikhe.
