Each year on September 8, the Armenian Apostolic Holy Church celebrates the Feast of the Nativity of Mary. This year in the Armenian Diocese in Georgia the Birth of the Virgin Mary by her mother Saint Anne was celebrated by the on-site Divine Liturgies.

Saint Movses Khorenatsi Preschool Opens Its Doors to Children PDF Print E-mail

The 2015/16 academic year started in the “Saint Movses Khorenatsi” Preschool of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia on September 8, 2015. From the morning, a festive mood and liveliness prevailed in the Saint Etchmiadzin Church courtyard, where around 50 Armenian children gathered with their parents holding colorful flowers in their hands to participate in the Morning Services and to receive the blessings from the Primate of the Armenian Diocese.

The members of the Youth Department of the Diocese – Sergey Kamalov, Rozita Gambarova, Armine Ghushchyan, Marianna Kirakozova and Milena Galustova joined the third session of the summer camp, organized on the initiative of the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs of Georgia. Along with their enjoyable vacation, the university and high school students were involved in archeological excavation work.

Primate of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia at the Official Reception Dedicated to the Constitution Day of Georgia PDF Print E-mail

On August 24, 2015, the Presidential Palace hosted an official reception dedicated to the 20th Anniversary of the Constitution. Members of Parliament, representatives of Judicial, Legislative and Executives branches of the Government, Georgian and foreign guests were invited to attend the reception on behalf of the President Giorgi Margvelashvili. Among the representatives of diplomatic corps was the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of RA to Georgia, Mr. Yuri Vardanyan. The Primate of the Armenian Diocese in Georgia, His Grace Bishop Vazgen Mirzakhanyan was also in attendance of the event.
