Armenian Diocese in Georgia Attended Ecumenical Prayer |
On January 25, in the Evangelical-Baptist Church of Tbilisi representatives of different religious confessions in Georgia prayed for Christian unity worldwide. The Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Orthodox Church in Georgia, headed by His Grace Bishop Vazgen Mirzakhanyan, attended the Ecumenical Prayer. All participants spoke about the importance of the Ecumenical Prayer, noting that despite the differences between confessions such activities can make closer believers of different churches, and most importantly - it is only to serve God and Savior, Jesus Christ. It should be noted that Sheikh Vagif Akperov, the leader of Muslims Department in Georgia, attended the prayer as a guest. |
